Using WorkflowManager - Time Sheet
General information
The Time Sheet screen displays a list and a total of time
entries for a task or a project. It can be used as a data
collection area for the actual time that was spent on a
task.
The Time Sheet can be accessed while in any screen of
WorkflowManager and is generally used to enter time spent on
a task at some point in time after the work has been
completed. In other words, you may prefer to use the Time
Sheet input screen if you wish to enter your time spent
information for all tasks worked on at the end of the day and
not as each task is completed.
Using the Time Sheet you can:
- Enter the time spent on a task or project.
- View a list of your time spent entries for a specific
date.
Time Sheet display
The Time Sheet screen display includes:
- Any comment that has been entered for the specific task
or project.
- The time entry for the specific task or project. The
minutes display is presented as a decimal. For example, 1
hour and 30 minutes is displayed as 1.5 hours.
- The name or the task or project.
Entering time spent information in the Time Sheet
screen
Method One
- Click on the WorkflowManager pull-down menu and select
View Time Sheet.
- Click on the "New Entry" line in the large input area
and enter the name of the task or project that is
associated with the time spent entry.
- Use the Enter key to navigate to the next field.
- Enter the time in hours, for example 15 minutes is 0.25
hours.
- Use the Enter key to navigate to the next field.
- Select specific task or project from the drop-down list
provided.
- Use the Enter key to record the entry. Repeat these
steps for additional time spent entries.
- Click the OK button.
Method Two
- Click on the WorkflowManager pull-down menu and select
View Time Sheet.
- Select the appropriate date for your time entry in the
Date field. The program defaults to your current computer
system date.
- Click on the "New" button.
- The Record Time Spent screen is displayed.
- Select the specific task or project for the time spent
input from the Type field list.
- Click to select either the "Time Spent" or "Worked on
From" data input preference and enter the appropriate time
slip information.
- Input in the Notes field is optional but it allows you
to enter a note (explanation or comment) that is related to
the task.
- Click the OK button.
Deleting a time spent entry in the Time Sheet screen
- Click on the WorkflowManager pull-down menu and select
View Time Sheet.
- Select the appropriate date in the Date field.
- Click to select the specific task or project.
- The Record Time Spent screen is displayed.
- Click the "Delete" button.
- Click the OK button to return to your previous screen
in the program.
Viewing the details of a time spent entry in Time

- Click on the WorkflowManager pull-down menu and select
View Time Sheet.
- Select the appropriate date in the date field.
- Click to select the specific task or project.
- Click the "Detail" button.
- The Record Time Spent screen with the original time
data input is displayed.
Viewing a list of time spent entries per day
- Click on the WorkflowManager pull-down menu and select
View Time Sheet.
- Select the appropriate date in the date field and view
your time spent entries for that specific day.
