Projects - Importing or Exporting a Project Template

General Information
Project templates are .pio files. You can both import and export the template .pio files.

To import a project template do the following:

  • Access the Project Template screen
  • Choose the department and template from the pull-down menus, then click the "Import" toolbar icon.
  • A standard file dialog will be displayed. Select the path for the location of the template, then select the specific template to import.
  • Click the Open button to complete the import process
  • Click the OK button to save the imported template.


To export a project template do the following:
  • Access the Project Template screen
  • Select the department and template from the pull-down menus, then click the "Export" toolbar icon.
  • A standard file dialog will be displayed. Select the path for the location of the template and the name for the template to export.
  • Click the Save button to complete the export process
