Projects - Link Token
Link Token is a specialized token (keyword) that
allows you to easily insert an HTML link in a delivery
message without having to know or type HTML code.
To use Link Token you need two pieces of
information:
- The text that you wish the recipient to read in the
message, i.e. Click Here.
- The URL address that you wish the recipient to
access.
To establish a Link Token in a delivery message do the
following:
- Access the Action Selector Delivery tab and create a
delivery action to a task.
- Position the cursor in the delivery message where you
wish to insert the token then click the "Insert"
button.
- The Insert Into Message screen is displayed.
- Select the "Link:(Link Name)" token then click the OK
button.
- The Enter Link Information dialog is displayed
- In the "Link Name" field, enter the text that you would
like displayed in the delivery message, i.e. Click Here.
Alternatively, you can check the box to make the URL
address the link text.
- In the "Link URL" field, enter the URL address, i.e.
http://www.portalsxpress.com.
The Link Token is a time saving step and allows you to send
professional looking correspondence with convenient HTML
links to the recipient. By using the Link Token you can
provide the recipient with an easy way to access the URL from
within the delivery message.
