Projects - Office-Wide Group
An office-wide group is a customized group of individuals
that pertains to the specific design of your company. It is a
folder that appears on the same lists that display the
departments of your company.
Office-wide groups that are established in ResourceManager
can be used for task assignment in WorkflowManager's projects
and templates. For example, if your Administrative Staff
members are used for workflow processes across numerous
departments you may wish to create an office-wide group for
the Administrative Staff resource members. This allows tasks
to be assigned to them as a group and appear on the Group
Inbox.
Office-wide groups provide for the sharing of workforce
member resources across more that one department. For
example, an office-wide group may be established for those
members (across numerous departments) that comprise the
company's softball team, the members of a product review
team, or your Administrative Staff.
Projects may not be started and templates may not reside in
an office-wide group.
