Digital File - Starting Projects
General Information
ContactManager interfaces with WorkflowManager and allows you
to start projects for a single contact or multiple
contacts.
The benefit of starting a project for your client in
ContactManager is that it automatically establishes your
client as the Primary contact of the project (the person for
whom the work is being performed) and places the project in
your client's digital file. This promotes a client-centric
and paperless office approach to your daily business
activities and reduces time spent looking for a client's
paper file.
The screen is divided into two panes and allows you to start
a project by using a predefined project template or from
scratch.
The Project Template tree control list, the left pane,
includes all existing project templates for the departments
that comprise your workforce. Select a template on this list
to start a best practice workflow project.
The project or template detail area, the right pane, includes
the individual screens (tabs) for project or template detail
data input or edits.
