Digital File - Sending an Email
You can send an email directly from ContactManager using
the Messenger skillset, without having to exit
ContactManager. By clicking on the New Email toolbar button
from within a contact's digital file, a new email message
will be generated to the contact in whose file you are
currently working. For example, you can send an email if you
are working in John Jones' digital file, and you realize you
need a question answered before you can continue your work on
his tax return. You can click one toolbar button, and a
message will be composed with his email address automatically
entered in the "To" field. You just need to enter the text of
the message and send it!
To send an email, do the following:
- Click on the New Email toolbar button.
- Type the subject and text of the message.
- Click the OK button to send the message and return to
the contact's digital file.
- The message will be sent to the contact and saved to
the Email Messages folder in the contact's digital file.

organization.)
