ContactManager Interface - Navigation
Terminology:
Click - Move the cursor to the desired location then press
and release the left mouse button.
Double-Click - Move the cursor to the desired location, then
press and release the left mouse button twice in quick
succession.
Right-Click - Move the cursor to the desired location and
press and release the right mouse button.
Select - Move the cursor to the desired location and press
and release the left mouse button. Alternatively, you may use
the Tab key to move to the desired item, then press the Enter
key.
Navigation and data entry in the dialog screens In general,
while using screens and dialogs, use the Tab Key to advance
to the next field. Use Shift-Tab to traverse backwards
between fields of a dialog.
Right-click Menus A right-click menu is available in the
screens throughout ContactManager. While the menu selections
vary per screen, they provide ease in navigation and data
input.
Selecting multiple items or a block of items on a list. To
select multiple items on a list, hold down the Ctrl key and
click to select the items.
To select a block of items, hold down the Shift key, click on
the first item then click the last item in the block or use
the Down arrow key to select the block of items.
Navigating Between the Different Components of
PortalsXpress
To navigate between the different components of PortalsXpress,
click on the respective tabs along the bottom of the screen.
For example, if while in Messenger you need to enter the
ContactManager skillset, then click on the tab labeled
ContactManager.
