Digital File - Indexing documents in the Digital File

PortalsXpress includes a document indexing and search feature that works much like a web search engine. Document indexing allows you to locate any object in your Workflow account almost instantly.

Using the Digital File Document Search feature of ContactManager, you can search the content of :

  • Digital Files
  • Contact Notes
  • Email Messages
  • Projects
  • Tasks


Document Indexing also allows you to add associate additional searchable information to a file:
  • Summary
  • Subject
  • Author
  • Keywords
  • Notes


Document indexing is available for every PortalsXpress account as part of our advanced document management system

Please Note: Document Indexing will not index zip archives. Compressed files do not contain data in a human readable format so no keywords can be extracted from them.
