Digital File - Digital File
The Digital File is an electronic file folder used to
store contact information and data in the same manner as a
client's paper file folder. You can store anything in a
digital file including spreadsheets, documents, tax returns,
and e-mails - up to 10GB.
Using the Digital File feature of ContactManager, you
can:
- Organize folders, projects and subfolders within a
contact's digital file.
- Enter contact notes describing conversations you have
had with the contact and/or the status of the contact's
file.
- Insert "digital items" (i.e., files/documents relative
to the contact saved on your computer's hard drive or the
firm's network) into the contact's digital file that are
applicable to the contact. This will mean you have all
files and documents relative to the contact stored in one
location, along with all of the contact's personal
information.
- Send an e-mail to someone on your Contact List without
leaving the contact's digital file.
- Start a new project in WorkflowManager for a
contact.
- Post to a Private Client Site forms or questionnaires
for the contact to complete online, or other
contact-sensitive information such as tax returns for the
contact to review.
