Getting Started
Overview
Messenger is comprised of two basic components: Instant
Messaging capabilities and the In/Out Board. Instant
Messaging allows you to send instant messages and/or chats to
individuals on your in/out board, or others from whom you
have been granted permission to contact them. The In/Out
Board allows you to view the location status of your fellow
co-workers so you can see if they are in the office, in a
meeting, on vacation, or out sick.
Help
Field specific context sensitive help is available throughout
Messenger. It provides information about the viewing and
input screens and their components while you work. The
Contents and Index Help of the User's Guide provides an
organized method of learning how to use Messenger.
