Using DocumentManager - Scanning to Document Manager

Scanning Documents into a folder

You can scan documents directly into a folder using the DocumentManager scanning feature.

To scan for DocumentManager storage:

  • Verify that your scanner is installed and functioning.
  • Click on the down arrow next to the Scan toolbar button to select your scanner source from the list.
  • Insert a document into the scanner. Depending on your type of scanner, 1) the document will automatically scan or 2) click the Scan toolbar button in DocumentManager.
  • The Post-Scan Editor will appear and allow you to crop, rotate and scan additional pages.
  • Click the Done toolbar button in the Post-Scan Editor to save the scanned images.
  • Select the destination folder in the Select Print/Scan Destination dialog and click OK.
